CCPA and CPRA

The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 and the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (CCPA/CPRA), extend the privacy rights of California residents by giving them more control over their personal information.

The CCPA took effect on January 1, 2020, and the CPRA on January 1, 2023, and Base is on it.

Base’s API integrations allow you to meet requests for access. Using our APIs, you can delete personal information, correct it, understand the categories of data collected, and get copies of the data Base has processed on your behalf.

Base is prepared and able to help you meet your CCPA/CPRA compliance obligations. When you use Base to collect or process personal information, Base acts as a “service provider” and is prepared to sign a contractual addendum that specifies our role.
